Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the Heisenbug website at heisenbug.app and the interactive demo catalog at heisenbug.app/demos/. By using either, you agree to these terms. Short version: this is a marketing site showing what we build. The demos are interactive walkthroughs, not production tools.

The demos are illustrations

Every cockpit demo in the catalog (HVAC Inventory, Plumbing Service, Home Health, Vacation Rental, etc.) is an interactive walkthrough showing the shape of what a real cockpit looks like. Demo data — patient names, caregiver names, addresses, financial figures, vendor names — is fictional. Any resemblance to real people or businesses is coincidental.

Where a demo is also a deployed product running with a real customer (currently three: HVAC Inventory / StockScout, Vending Route / BrewRoute, Home Health / Community Home Health Scout), the badge on the catalog tile says "Production · client." Those deployments operate under separate agreements with their respective operators, not these terms.

What you can do with the site

• Browse it, share it, link to it.
• Click the demos, try the buttons, get a feel for the patterns.
• Quote individual sentences in articles or social posts with attribution.

What you can't do

• Copy the demo code, branding, or copy and ship it as your own product.
• Scrape the catalog in bulk for resale or competitive intelligence aggregation.
• Attempt to break in, probe for vulnerabilities, or interfere with the site's operation. Responsible disclosure of a vulnerability is welcome at hello@heisenbug.app.

Intellectual property

The Heisenbug brand mark, the cockpit designs, the copy, and the codebase are property of Heisenbug Inc. The cockpit category names (e.g., "Operator Cockpit") describe the product category and are not exclusively claimed.

Open-source dependencies used in the demos are credited in the respective repos on GitHub and remain under their original licenses.

If we work together

When you engage Heisenbug to build a cockpit for your business, that engagement is governed by the specific written agreement we sign, not by these site terms. The two important defaults you can expect:

• You own your data. Exportable at any time.
• You own the cockpit, on a flat-fee basis. No monthly subscription required to keep using it. Hosting fees pass through at actual cost.

No warranty

This site and the demos are provided "as is." We don't warrant that the demos are bug-free, that the catalog is exhaustive, or that any specific cockpit will fit a specific business — that's literally what the discovery call is for.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Heisenbug Inc. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website. If you find a bug, please tell us at hello@heisenbug.app.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Bexar County, Texas.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
