→ Who runs this

Ivan Svedov

Founder · Heisenbug Inc.

San Antonio, TX. Ten-plus years operator-side — ecommerce, hardware, hemp distribution. Built operations tools for friends, family, and family-owned businesses across multiple verticals before consolidating the methodology and codebase into Heisenbug. Still the one sitting next to the operator when a cockpit gets designed.

→ Who we are

An operator-run software shop.
Not a consultancy.

Heisenbug Inc. builds vertical software for operators — the people who actually run a business, not the people who buy software for a business. The team is operator-first: every cockpit gets designed with someone who lives in that workflow daily, not a product manager guessing at the requirements.

We started by building one cockpit for one operator in one industry — Ivan's hemp distribution business needed something the off-the-shelf tools couldn't do. It worked. The pattern repeated across friends and family running other businesses: pool service, HVAC, vending routes, accounting, furniture retail, home health. Several production deployments later, we consolidated the methodology and the codebase under Heisenbug. The 28 cockpits in the catalog are the result — every one of them seeded by a real operator with a real problem.

→ How we build

One operator, one industry,
one cockpit at a time.

STEP 01
Sit with the operator
No questionnaires. No discovery calls billed by the hour. We watch how you actually run the business — the tabs, the spreadsheets, the texts, the things you hate doing.
STEP 02
Build what's missing
First version in your hands in 7-10 days. Not a wireframe, not a Figma. A working cockpit with your real data shape, your real accounts, your real workflow.
STEP 03
Refine live
You use it. We watch the friction. We fix it. Weekly iteration loops until the cockpit replaces the seven tabs and the spreadsheet and the WhatsApp group.
STEP 04
Propagate
What we build for HVAC inventory is mostly true for plumbing inventory. The engine carries forward. The branding, the workflow, the accounts — that's per-operator.
→ How we ship

Phone, tablet, desktop, or App Store. Your call.

Every cockpit ships in whatever format actually fits how your team works. We don't push App Store delivery to look fancy, and we don't push a web app just because it's faster to build.

Phone-first web app

Opens in any browser. Tap "Add to Home Screen" on iPhone or Android and it works like an app — full screen, works offline, sends notifications, no App Store wait. Most operators get this and stop there. It just works.

Real App Store app

When you actually need an App Store listing for your customers to find you, or deeper phone features like the camera, scanner, or background tasks. Same cockpit, packaged for the App Store and Google Play.

Simple marketing website

Some operators just need a clean web presence with a contact form and a phone number. We do those too — fast, works on phones, no template-builder bloat. Often paired with the operational cockpit behind a login.

Desktop browser cockpit

For operators who run the business from a back-office desk, the cockpit works equally well on a 27-inch monitor. Same login, same data, more screen real estate for the dense views.

→ The philosophy

We propagate the working pieces to adjacent industries — what's true for HVAC inventory is mostly true for plumbing inventory, what works for furniture financing mostly works for mattress financing. The cockpits are different. The engine underneath is one.
